see former LARFPA Scholarship recipient Lillie Vehling (2023) continuing to make a difference through academic excellence, athletics, and community service.
In a recent post, Lillie reflected on her journey as an engineering student and student-athlete at UC Davis, sharing how support from organizations dedicated to firefighter families helped make her education possible. She also recognized the Los Angeles Retired Fire and Police Association as one of the organizations that invested in her success.
Lillie’s accomplishments, including her work to expand access to water safety education and her commitment to serving others, reflect the values our scholarship program strives to support.
