NEW MAYOR APPOINTED COMMISSIONER

Last week it was announced that Michael Lawson had resigned from the Board of Pension Commissioners. Over the last couple of years, we have developed a tremendous respect for Mr. Lawson. He had a quiet, calm demeanor and always had insightful questions for investment and banking representatives addressing the board. He will be missed.

Mayor Bass has appointed Carlton Jenkins to fill the remainder of Lawson’s term, and for the subsequent term ending June 30, 2030. Mr. Jenkins has an impressive education and resume. He has long served in business, banking, and investments. We look forward to working with Mr. Jenkins.
